Hi Reader, As Coffees for Gaza turns 2 (more on that below), we have a urgent request from Oday and Rawan's family. Their 5 month-old-son Rayan has developed an amoebic parasite due to tainted water. As you know, there is no real sanitation available in Gaza. Rawan and Oday were devastated to learn that Rayan has been infected, because their toddler Yaman also had the same infection as an infant. This is a very dangerous condition and they need to get treatment for Rayan as soon as possible. Right now, the family cannot afford the medication they need to treat Rayan. Oday also cares for his brother, who is disabled, his sister-in-law, and his elderly mother. He is currently trying to find housing for them. Oday and Rawan got married on October 2023, the day before war began. They spent only two nights in their home before it was destroyed. Despite the horrors and heartbreak Oday and Rawan have endured, they have always done what they could to help others. They are both dentists, and for the first year of the war they operated a pediatric dental tent, funded by donations. They eventually had to close the tent because they were displaced once again. Please share whatever you can to help Rawan and Oday afford medication and treatment for their little ones, as well as other essentials. You can either donate directly to their GoFundMe (donation can be made either in Euros or US dollars) or to the Coffees for Gaza Emergency Fund (donation is in US dollars).

From the 25 families we are in relationship with and from our volunteer team, THANK YOU for everything you have done. There are so many ways people like you are making a difference, including (but not limited to):

Hi Reader, It's been a while since we've updated you about how our transition to the Family Sponsor Program is going. If this is the first time you're hearing of the Family Sponsor Program, these are donors who sign up give $5 a month (or more) to a particular Coffees for Gaza family through the family's fundraising link on Chuffed or GoFundMe. We are so thankful to the 82 people so far who have signed up to donate approximately 1300 Great British Pounds per month. These family sponsors have...
Hi Reader, Fadi cares for so many family members, and he does everything he can to avoid asking for help. He and his family need our care. What if we could show even a fraction of the generosity to him that he share with the people around him? I've shared before that Fadi and his wife have three beautiful daughters, who he calls their "flowers." But Fadi also supports his elderly parents and his younger sister. Alaa, Fadi and their three daughters: Danya, Kinda, and Leen The family has long...
