Help Tahani move to a safer location

Hi Reader, Thank you so much for being part of the Coffees for Gaza community. As the 25 families we're in relationship with continue to face danger, hunger, and medical crises, we're thankful for each and every one of you who are choosing to amplify their stories and offer your support. Right now, Tahani's family is at the top of our urgent needs list. The family's tent is very close to the yellow line, and they are witnessing shelling and stray bullets flying nearby every day. Attacks by Israeli military forces continue to push families like Tahani's into smaller and smaller portions of Gaza. Tahani and her husband Mohammed have found a safer place near friends of theirs to relocate to, which Tahani calls "a miracle" because land rentals are so scarce. She also writes that: "The situation has become dangerous and terrifying, especially with the rapid escalation of events and the numerous injuries caused by stray Israeli fire. Nothing protects us; everything around us is destroyed. All we have left is cloth and nylon. Now, for the ninth time, we've decided to flee to a safer place in western Gaza. But I need your help. Moving within Gaza requires a large sum of money. Please help me protect my children. " Thanks to generous donations to the Coffees for Gaza Emergency Fund, Tahani's family has some of what they need for the move itself, but nothing left over for food, medication, and their other basic daily needs. We allocate these funds every few weeks to whichever of our urgent needs families has the greatest need and the most difficulty raising funds on their own.

She recently showed pictures of garden she'd managed to plant near their current tent despite the desolate surroundings. "These little plants are like us - trying to live - despite everything. Every plant that grows before me gives me hope, tells me that life can return."
