Hamza recently turned 17 and he continues to be the primary breadwinner for his family, which includes his 6 siblings and his parents. The soup kitchen that the family had been relying on for meals recently closed, which means donations to his campaign are urgently needed right now.

Both Hamza and one of his siblings have a Growth Hormone Deficiency which requires treatment and medication that they have gone without for years.

Hamza's mother is also struggling with a number of health conditions right now, including anemia, and the required tests and treatments are expensive.

Hamza has always been an excellent student, and despite all the burdens he carries he finished the 11th grade with a 92% GPA.

He's now in his final year of high school and is studying for Tawjihi. His score will ultimately determine his university choices. The on-going violence and instability mean that classes are intermittent, so Hamza will need tutoring to prepare. His educational expenses alone this year will be around $200 USD per month.
